This Privacy Policy explains how Helios Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit property.solwise.ai (the “Site”) or communicate with us. SolWise is an initiative of Helios Solutions. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1Who we are

We are the controller (and, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the Data Fiduciary) of the personal information described in this policy.

2Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in a form, book a call, or email us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, work email, company, and the content of your message.

Information we collect automatically. When you use the Site, we may collect technical and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the Site. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as health, biometric, or financial account data). Please do not send it to us.

3How we use your information

• respond to your enquiries and provide the information or services you request;
• operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
• send you communications you have asked for or that are relevant to an existing enquiry, with an option to opt out of marketing at any time;
• measure and understand how the Site is used;
• protect the Site, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example in the EU/UK), we rely on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, and compliance with legal obligations, as applicable.

4How we share your information

We share personal information only:

• with service providers who help us operate the Site and our business (for example website hosting, analytics, scheduling, and email providers), under agreements that require them to protect it;
• where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights;
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5International transfers

We may store and process personal information in countries other than your own, including India and the United States. Where we transfer personal information from the EU, UK, or other regions with data-transfer restrictions, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent recognized mechanism.

6Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site and to understand how it is used.

• Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the Site cannot function without them.
• Analytics and marketing cookies (including Google Analytics) load only after you accept them through our cookie banner.

We use Google Consent Mode, so before you give consent, Google’s tags run in a limited state that does not set identifying cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

7Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information: to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict processing, receive your information in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

EU/UK residents: you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

US residents (including California): you have the right to know, access, delete, and correct your personal information, to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

India residents: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access and correct your personal data, to request its erasure, to nominate another person to exercise your rights, and to a grievance-redressal process. To exercise these rights, or to raise a grievance, contact our grievance contact (Section 12).

8How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it.

9How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Children

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will provide a more prominent notice.
